With Selgard, Ajax, and Drakmar away from town for various reasons, the group of Darr, Malkin and Rugger were tasked by “the Boss ” to head out South of town seeking a shipment of halberds that had “fallen off a cart” and bring them back to Leard Town. After several rounds of negotiations, the group decided they would proceed. If successful, the venture would net them several thousand coins of gold.

The party consisted of Drakmar a gnome titan from Iceland, Ajax Greyjoy an elf warrior, and the usual suspects: Selgard, Darr, Malkin and co. They entered the dungeon with Ajax, dual daggers drawn, leading in the way. The main hall, a large room with high ceilings and stone pillars to support it was now occupied, where previously it had not been. A pile of Orcs had taken up residence in the main hall; barricades and all, and they were ready for a fight. These were the same orcs that had routed the party during their previous foray into the Dungeon of Bed-Wetting Terror.
It quickly became apparent that they were in over their heads as Ajax took several crossbow bolts. The grievous wounds caused Ajax to rethink his strategy, and he ducked behind a nearby stone pillar.
Selgard with body shield and Drakmar charged the orcs while Darr sneaked in and secretly darted from pillar to pillar. Malkin, fearing for his life, stayed in the hallway with the torch bearers and pack mule.
Ajax used rope and grapple to overturn one of the large oak tables the orcs used as barricades, allowing Selgard and Drakmar to engage directly.
Melee ensued, during which the party performed well against great odds. The six orcs were eventually killed. And Ajax, too; his wounds were not so severe and Selgard petitioned the church to have him raised.
The party collected the heads of these six orcs and brought them to the council where they were exonerated of their crimes.
The party inadvertently allowed orcs from the dungeon to rampage through Leard, by night. The orcs ran out from and back to the dungeon, as witnessed by the town guard. The party was brought before the town council and put on trial.

Slainone and Taglorn, along with several other members of the guild Please Do Not Kill Us, were able to rid the world of a pair of powerful giants!
Also, throwing in a gratuitous pic of a Hydra! This time, Taglorn and Yaerius single handedly killed the beast. Taglorn recovered a powerful sword, called Strike of the Hydra.

Thus far, CBS has not announced a season premier. I suspect they are waiting for one of their other new shows to tank, and they will then swoop in with the promised 7 episode season 2 of Jericho to save the day.
So, if you are Jericho fan do yourself a favor and do not watch any new shows on CBS this fall. Not even the good ones–not until they air the new season of Jericho, that is.
